My goal is to create paintings that are bathed in striking light and bright colors.
I paint with oils, acrylics, and pastels and my works range from finely-defined figures to loosely-painted impressionistic landscapes.
After graduating from New York University, I trained at the Cape Cod School of Art, and the Armory Art Center in Florida, and for the past 17 years I have been conducting painting workshops in Florida and on Cape Cod.
I was born in Cuba; have been professionally painting since 1984; and, for the past 15 years, have been a faculty member at the Truro Center for the Arts at Castle Hill.
My solo exhibits include the Hibel Museum of Art , the Palm Beach Gardens Council of the Arts, and the Truro Public Library.
